Abdirauf Abdullahi, 19, is shot and killed.

A recent graduate of Boston Latin School who was planning to enter the University of Charlestown, West Virginia, Abdirauf was shot as he was leaving Peter’s Park in a case of mistaken identity. He and his family had come to Boston after escaping war-torn Somalia in 1996.
